This really annoys me. Doesn't Kathleen Blanco realize that many people have the squeeze put on them right now with rising gas prices? Louisiana Politicians don't seem to mind that many of their consitutuents are struggling to make ends meet as gas prices rise.
If we do not reduce taxes, businesses will continue to leave, people will continue to leave, and you will have an increase in tax fraud.
Yet, the governor is more concerned with the pinch on state government. If she is so concerned about the spending this state does, she would be best advised to weed people off of the state payroll.
What she could is to look at the individual departments and look for unnecessary spending. She could look at the state employees, cutting employees. When computers came out, it was supposed to make employees more effecient. What we got from government is a more bloated government.
