Now this isn't political and not related to Republicans in Baton Rouge but I did find out about this on the hillbilly drudge.

I'm glad that they don't sound like a lot of other women who jump into a traditionally male-dominated field--like those women who quickly demand "egalitarian" participation (i.e. equality of RESULTS, rather than equality of OPPORTUNITY to achieve the desired results of the fruits of their own labor). What I'm saying is, I have no problem if they even want to try out for LSU or the Saints if they feel that they can make the cut--just as long as they don't demand that a quota of half the positions on the college and NFL teams be automatically reserved for themselves without having to try out for the positions like the other (male) players have to.

But for right now, the ladies in the article that you posted a link to aren't making those demands in football like that one young lady did several years ago who played as a kicker on a school's all-male team and insisted that she should have been starting--even though everyone else agreed she actually earned a position no higher than a third or fourth-stringer. Best of luck to those on the Baton Rouge team.

When's their next home game, AvMan? Any chick that digs football is cool with me!
